Our mediation training is the best in the business. If you meet all the learning outcomes, you get a valuable certificate from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). You can also register as a mediator with The College of Mediators, and the Civil Mediation Council.

I was delighted with the training. It got straight to the point and didn’t go over old ground. Being able to carry out a robust, fair and proportionate investigation, having the skills to weigh the evidence and prepare your findings, and then to write a succinct and navigable report of the investigation, is not easy. Our training will give you all those investigation skills, because we are confident this course is the best in the business!

In developing this course we pulled together investigative practice from a wide range of expert bodies, which are summarised in our Best Practice Standards for Investigating Grievance and Disciplinary Matters. We have had the course approved by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) as an Endorsed Award.

You’ll be a better (and more marketable) investigator

If you’re an independent, then your clients will get reports which are fit for purpose in that they are thorough, analysed against the correct criteria, and assist adjudication and resolution. And you learn how to manage any type of investigation process effectively, meaning delays are minimised, sensitive issues are progressed and parties are kept informed, all of which reduces the risk of an ET.

Please bear in mind you are not buying the certificate, but a place on a training programme. Passing our programme is not a foregone conclusion, because to gain the Award, you need to demonstrate your competencies against our learning outcomes, and for some people this is more difficult than for others.
